S. Benedict ) The minutes of the previous meeting of October 21, 1969 were read an d approved. The Replat of Shady Oaks Estates was reviewed. Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to approve said replat of Shady Oaks as submitted. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Eidson. Motion PREVRILED by the following vote: I . Ayes: Councilmen Benedict, Harwe�l, Eidsqn, Da�.ton & Thompson. Noes: None Th e Gas Rate Increase proposal of Lone Star Gas Company was reviewed and studied. No official action was taken. � � The proposed Taxi Cab rates of Regional Cab Company were �� reviewed. Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to approve said rates as proposed. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Eidson. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Harwell, Eidson, Dalton, Thompson & Benedict. Noes: None Said Taxi Cab rates are on file in the City Records. Proposed Resolution R69-21, authorizing a stop sign on Over- look Drive at Dove Road was introduced. Councilman Harwell made a MOTION to pass said Resolution. Motion SEOONDED by Councilman Thompson. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Eidson, Dalton, Thompson, Benedict & Harwell. Noes: None i � Street light requests were reviewed. Councilman Eidson made a � MOTION that the City Man ager be authorized to order the in- stallation of street lights and stop signs necessary for the � safety and comfort of the general public. Motion SECONDED � by Councilman Benedict. Motion PREVAILED by the following I vote: ; Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Thompson, Benedict, Harwell & Eidson. Noes: None 1 g . I � � � 7 � 3 . � � , , Mayor Pirkle appointed Councilman Thompson to be the City s Representative to the Northeast Cities Advisory Council and Councilman Benedict as an alternate. � zJ-� � Proposed Resolution R69-�, authorizing City Manager Floy Ezell and City Attorney Bill Tate to represent the City at � the Hearing of the Railroad Commission on November 11, 1969 to consider the request of St. Louis and Southwestern Rail- road to close�rthe local depot was introduced. Councilman Eidson made a MOTION to pass said resolution. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Dalton. Motion PREVAILE�D by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Benedict, Harwell, Eidson & Dalton.
