On the 16th day of December, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. the City Council
of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in a call meeting with the
following members present :
Willis Pirkle Mayor
Doil Dalton )
G. S. Benedict )
Lee Thompson ) Councilmen
A1 Harwell )
Tommy Eidson )
Mayor Pirkle called the ;meeting to order and Councilman Dalton
� gave the invocation.

City Manager Floy Ezell reported that the application of the
City of Grapevine and the Tarrant County Water Control and Im-
provement District # 1 for cosponsorship o� the Roanoke
Reservoir has been made with the Texas Water Rights Commission
in Austin, as instructed by the City Council.
Messrs. Bill Calhoun and Charles Young of the Lone Star Gas
Company were present and discussed the Gas Company' s proposed
rate increase with the Council. No action was taken on the
proposal and the Gas Company is to furnish rate information �
j on other towns in the area for compar-i$on purposes.

� Jimmy Payton , property owner, was present to represent the
� property owners in the proposed airport area West of Farm Road
� 157 and to present a petition of these property owners requesting
� the City to request of the Airport Board to not take the land
West of Farm Roa d 157i7to the Airport. Proposed Resolution R69-26
� requesting the Airport Board not to take the land West of Farm �
� Road 157 into the Airport boundaries was introduced. Councilman
Eidson made a MOTION to pass said Resolution R69-26. Motion
SECONDED by Councilman Thompson. Motion PREVAIL.ED By the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Eidson , Dalton, B�nedict , & Harwell.
Noes: None
