STATE OF TEXAS � COUNTY OF TARRANT � CITY OF GRAPEVINE � On the 17th day of February, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. , the City ' Council and the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met jointly in the City Hall with the following members present: Cit Council � Y Willis Pirkle Mayor i Lee Thompson ) G. S. Benedict ) Councilmen � Doil Dalton ) Tommy Eidson ) � Planning & Zoning Commission � f Harlen Joyce � � Howard Parsley ; � Ted Ware � Joe Kennedy � Jerry Jordan Phil Parker Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order and Councilmen � Thompson gave the invocation. E � Public Hearing was declared open. Rezone Application Z 70-1 � was considered. Bob Rockenbaugh requested "G" Local Business District Zonin g on his lot 10, Starnes Addition. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. Rezone Application Z 70-3 was ,considered. Ann Carlson requested "J & K" Industrial Zoning on �ss Lot 4A3 in the BBB & CRR Survey. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. I � Rezone Application Z 70-4 was considered. Jimmy Messina re- quested a Conditional Use Permit for a miniature automobile ride concession on Lot 4AB in the BBB & CRR Survey. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. Rezone Application Z 70-2 was considered. K. W. Pickering re- i quested "Planned Development" Zoning on his 150 acres in the I� Whitman & Wood Surveys . Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard, and �lpetition signed by eleven property owners in j Canterbury Village petitioning the Zoning Board not to allow Camelot Drive to be opened for through traffic, was presented. Public Hearing was declared closed. The City Council continued to meet for the regular meeting of February 17, 1970 with the following members present: Willis Pirkle Mayor Tommy Eidson � Doil Dal ton Lee Thompson G. S. Benedict Councilman Harwell was absent . 2 � 5 ; The minutes of the previous meetings of February 3rd and lOth g were read and approved. � B' Y A H � ill ancey and . J. arper were present and requested that � Bill Yancey be allowed to construct a sidewalk along the north side of the Yancey Building running from the front of the � building toward the rear, 30 feet to a proposed side door of � the building. Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to approve the � request ��' and to pass Resc�uti�on R70-3 eliminating ,parking `� along the South side of �. Worth from Main to -�e�ci`zi�s Streets. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Benedict. Motion PREVAILED by � the following vote: E Ayes : Councilmen Benedict , Eidson, Dalton and Thompson. � Noes: None � � � q Copy of said Resolution in City' s official Resolution Book. � � � Frank Medanich of First Southwest Company was present and introduced and re d the necessary ordinance in connection with the issuance of $�50,000. General Obligation Bonds. Council- man Eidson made a MOTION to pass said ordinance. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Dalton. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: � � Ayes: Councilm en Dalton, Eidson, Benedict & Thompson. Noes: None ORDINANCE 70-4 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $�50,000. IN GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS. Councilman Eidson made a MOTION to appoint W. K. Stewar't, � as Election Judge and Mrs. C. W. Goad as Alternate Election Judge for the City's official election to be held April 7, � 1970. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Thompson . Motion PRE- � VAILED by the following vote: � � � Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Benedict, D alton & Eidson. Noes : None Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to delete from the tax roll a non existant lot, Lot 2 in the ulhitman Survey. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Thompson.
