Mrs . Georgia greeding was present to discuss procedures on � moving a house from the airpart property in�o the City. The City Cauncil advised Mrs, Breeding on the pracedures covering maving af hauses. Ozdinance 70-39, pertaining to Rezoning of certain property of Mel. Hobratsch was acead on second reading. Cauncilman Thompsan made a motian ta pass said ordinance on second r�ad- ing. Motion seconded by Councilman Parker. Motion prevailed by the followzng vote: � Ayes : Cout�cilmen parker, Harwell, Eidsan, Dal�on & Thompson. Naes : None ' ORDINANCE 70-39 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZANING ORDINANCE��; AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXA.S, SO AS TO CHANGE THE 7ANING DISTRICTS QF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF MEL HOBRATSCH FROM "R-1" RESIDENTIAL ZONING TO "C-2" COMMUNITY BUSTNESS DZSTRICT, AND PROt7IDING FQR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. Ordinance 70-40 pertaining ta reZOning of certain property of Mel Hobratsch was read an secand reading. Cauncilman Parker made a motion to pass said ordinance on secand reading. Noes; None �; 9 i z ORDINANCE 70-40 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND 7ANING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZANING DISTRICTS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF MEL HOBRATSCH FROM "R-1'�f RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "C-2't CONINILJNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. �, Ordinance 70-41 pertaining to rezoning of certain property of W. N. Rider, Jr. was read on second reading. Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass said ordinance on second r�ad- ing. Motion seconded by Councilman Thompson. Noes : None ORDINANCE 70-41 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZANING ORDINANCE AND ZANING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZANING DISTRICTS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF b�V. N, RIDER, JR. FROM "R-1" RESIDEN- TIAL DISTRICT TO "C-1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. Ordinance 70-43 pertaining to rezoning of certain property of Leonard Hall, Sr. was read on second reading. Councilman Dalton made a motion to pass said ordinance on second read- ing. Motion seconded by Councilman Thompson. Motion pre- � vailed by the following vote; Ayes; Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton & Thompson. � Noes: None , . , � ,� The City Council delayed action on Vilbig Mobile Home plat, because no roadway was included leading into Brookhollow Estates . Proposed Ordinance 70-42 was introduced, an ordinance pro- viding for the approval of the agreement between the City of Grapevine and the State of Texas, for. the installation of lighting and traffic signals . Councilman Daltnn made a motion to pass said ordinance. Motion seconded by Councilman Thompson. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes ; Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton & Thompson . Noes : None ORDINANCE 70-42 AN ORDINANCE PROVID:ING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE __ AGREENIENT DATED OCTOBER 20, 1970 BETWEEN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE� FOR THE INSTALLATION, CONSTRUCTION, EXISTENCE, USE, OPERATING AND MEIINTENANCES OF HIGHWAY SIGNAL PROJECT(S) AT THE IACATION(S) SHOWN ON EXHIBIT l, ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, IN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE: PROVIDING FOR THE EXE- CUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Manager presented a series of proposed water and sewer lines extensions for the Council ' s consideration. � 29 � � The City Manager stated that several individuals had con- tacteri hixn abaut the possibila.ty af forming an a�sociation ta manage and schedule tournaments at the city tennis courts . TY�e Ci�Gy Council stated they had no abjectic�n: to clubs using ' the tennis courts as long as it was to remain available to � the public. The City Manager proposed that the Ca.ty request an additianal two-way radio band. The one available i� 453 .2 M.C. . The s; estimated cost would be forty five hundred dollars (��soo.04} ;` ! for installatzon. Councilman Eidson made a motion to accept � ', said proposal . Motion secor�ded by Gouncilman Dalton.
