CITY OF GRAPEVINE �
On the first day of June, 1971 , at 7:30 P.M. , the City Council
of the City of Grapevine, �exas met with the following members
present :
City Council
'� Willis Pirkle Mayor
Lee Thompson )
Tommy Eidson )
A1 Harwell ) Councilmen
Phil Parker )
Councilman Dalton was absent .
Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Thompson
gave the invocation.
Mr. Jimmy Patterson and Mr. Bob Billington were present and
presented to the Council, preliminary plans and drawings for
the swimming pool . After discussing the plans, the Council
instructed Mr. Billington and Mr . Patterson to proceed with
final plans and specifications on the �roject.
Councilman Eidson made a motion to approve the Planning & �oning
recommendation on Z 71-13 on which Dan Peters requested "C-2'�
Zoning on tract 3A in the J. R. Foster Survey. Councilman
Thompson seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following
, vote:
Ayes : Councilmen Thompson, Eidson, Harwell and parker.
Noes: None
Councilman Eidson made a motion to proceed with the extension
of sewer lines up Dove Road to the City Park site, the new
school site and to Reed Apartments . Councilman Harwell
seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote;
Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Eidson, Harwell & Parker.
Noes: None
Councilman Harwell made a motion to have regular council meet-
ings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and zoning
hearings on the fourth Tuesday of each month with a 10 P.M.
time limit on each meeting. Councilman Parker seconded the
motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes : Councilmen Thompson, Eidson, Harwell and Parker.
Noes: None
