' Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Dalton

; The Planning & Zoning Commission' s report on Zone Change �
jApplication Z 71-14 on which Joe N. Box and C. G. Lavender �
, requested "R-3�� Multiple Family Zoning was read. The Planning �
' & Zoning Commission approved this request. Councilman parker
i made a motion to approve the Zoning Board' s recommendation,
; and to pass Ordinance 71-23 on first reading, making the change.

' Councilman Dalton seconded the motion . Motion prevailed by
�
the following vote:

i TEXAS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS
I OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF JOE N. BOX FROM "R-1"

j RESIDENTIAL ZANING TO "R-3�� MULTIPLE FAMILY
�' ZANING� AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.

' The Planning & Zoning Commission 's report on Zone Change
i Application Z 71-15 on which Virgil R. Sanders and others
� requested "R-3" and "C-2" Zonin g, was read. The Zoning
� Board recommended to approve this zoning change. After
' some discussion, Councilman Parker made a motion to table
� any action on this application until next meeting night.
i Councilman Thompson seconded the motion. Motion prevailed
by the following vote:
Ayes�: Councilmen park�r , Dalton and Thompson.

The Planning & Zoning Commission' s report on the request of
,7ohn Sargent to place a Mobile home on his property on Hall-
Johnson Road was read. Councilman Parker made a motion to
approve this application. Councilman Thompson seconded the
� motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote:
