AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 5, SECTION
6 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
ESTABLISHING GARBAGE RATES; AND PROVIDING FOR A
SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
SECTION l. That Title 7, Chapter 5, Section 6 is hereby
amended to include the following rates :
OPEN TOP CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION CONTAINERS
CAPACITY OF CONTAINER SERVICE CHARGE PER DAY PER LOAD
20 Cubic Yards $2 . 25 $55.00
25 Cubic Yards 2.50 60.00
30 Cubic Yards 2. 75 65.00
35 Cubic Yards 3.00 70.00
40 Cubic Yards 3.25 75.00
,.. SECTION 2. Should any part, section, paragraph, sentence,
clause or phrase contained in this ordinance be held to be
unconstitutional, such holding shall not affect the validity
�` � of the remaining portion of the ordinance, but in all respect
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3 . The fact that the present ordinances of the
City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to properly
safeguard, the health, safety, morals, peace, and general
welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
creates an emergency for the immediate preservation of
public business, property, health, safety and general
welfare of the public which requires that this ordinance
shall become effective from and after the date of its
passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 15th day of August, 1978
by the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas .
