On the 27th day of July, 1971 the City Council of the City
-� of Grapevine, Texas met in a called meeting with the follow-
ing members present:
Willis Pirkle Mayor
Phil Parker )
Al Harwell )
Tommy Eidson ) Councilmen
� Doil Dalton )
; Lee Thompson )

� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order . Councilman Harwell
gave the invocation .
Mr. Doan with the General Telephone Company was present and
explained the telephone rate ordinance to the council.
i Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass Ordinance 71-24 on
first reading. Councilman Dalton seconded the motion.
Motion prevailed by the following vote:
? Ayes: Councilmen Parker , Harwell, Eidson, Dalton & Thompsnn.
Noes: None
ORDINANCE 71-24
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE RATES CHARGED
FOR TELEPHONE SERVICE WITHIN THE CORPORATE
' LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS;
AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
Mr . Crane and Mr . Howell were present and presented plans for
development of the Ken Good & Associates property in the ;
,:
Southwest part of the City. '

Councilman Eidson made a motion to proceed with plans for a ¢
! 60' street right-of-way for the present , with provisions '
that another 10' will be dedicated before any building permits
are issued for the sub-division. Councilman Thompson
, seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by �he following vote: °;

Ayes: Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton & Thompson.
Noes : None
Members of the Planning & Zoning Board discussed future plans
, :� on Block Zoning with the Coun cil. No action was taken by the t
' Council on this subject.
