AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING GREEN FEES AT
THE GRAPEVINE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE;
PROVIDING FOR THE GOLF PROFESSIONAL AS
DULY DESIGNATED BY THE CITY COUNCIL TO
ESTABLISH GOLF COURSE POLICY AND PROCE-
DURE; PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING OF THE
GOLF' COURSE POLICY AND PROCEDURE AT THE
w PRO SHOP OF' THE GOLF' COURSE; PROVIDING
FOR THE CITY COUNCIL TO PERIODICALLY
REVIEW THE SAID GOLR COURSE POLICY AND

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section 1. Green fees for the Grapevine Municipal Golf
Course are hereby set and established as follows:
A. Week day (Monday thru Friday)
(1) Regular Green F'ee - $3.50
(2) Twilight Green Fee (after 4:30 p.m. ) - $2.75
(3) Senior Citizen (Age 62 and above) - $2.00
(4) Junior (Age 18 and under) - $2.00
(5) Punch Card - available to citizens of Grapevine
only. Purchase Qf punch card entitles holder to
f if ty (50) rounds of golf - $125.00
B. Week Ends (Saturday and Sundays) and Holidays (New
�` � Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day, Good F'riday, closed Christmas Day)

(1) Green fee - $4.00
(2) Twilight Green Fee (After 4:30 p.m. ) - $3.00
Section 2. It shall be unlawful to play the Grapevine Muni-
cipal Golf Course without a valid green fee ticket in possession
of the player at all times .
Section 3. The Golf Pro for the Grapevine Municipal Golf
Course , as designated by the City Council, is hereby authorized
and directed to establish golf course policies and procedures .
The policies and procedures shall govern tee off times regulation
of play, operation of electric carts and pull carts , rain checks,
golf etiquette and other matters that are deemed necessary to
insure that all using the facility will have a safe and orderly
course to play.
B. The golf course policies and procedures established by
the Golf Pro pursuant to this Section shall be in writing and
posted in a prominent place in the Club House and be available
for the general public to read and review.
C. It shall be unlawful to violate any of the Golf Course
�"" policies and procedures .

��„��, D. The City Council shall periodically review the promul-
gated Golf Course policies and procedures and may at any time,
review, revoke , amend or repeal same .
Section 4. Severability - If any section, article, para-
graph, senten�ce, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or
application thereto to any person or circumstances is held in-
valid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions of the ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares
it would have passed such remaining portions of the ordinance
despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 5. Penalty - Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not to exceed
two hundred dollars ($200.00) and a separate offense shall be
� # deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation
� occurs or continues af ter the notice period provided herein has
expired. The Court sl�a�l order removal and abatement of the
nuisance .
Section 6. Emergency - The fact that no present ordinances
of the City of Grapevine establishing green fees at the Grapevine
Municipal Golf Course exist, creates an urgency and an emergency
and in the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare
requires that this ordinance shall take effect immediately f rom
and after its passage and the publication 'of the caption as the
law and charter in such cases provides .
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of Grapevine , Texas ,
