AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9, CHA.F'TERS 2 AND
4, SECTIONS 2 and 4 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS BY ADDING STOP SIGNS
AT CERTAIN IAC�TIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
PROHIBITING PARKING IN SPECIFIC DESIGNATED
LOCATIONS, PROVIDING A PENALTY, PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND DECLARING AN EMER-
GENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
�s� GRAPEVINE, TEXAS;
SECTION I. Title 9, Chapter 4, Section 4, of the
City Code of the City of Grapevine , Texas, is hereby
amended to include the following:
Parking shall be prohibited at all times at the follow-
ing locations , and signs shall be erected to indicate same:
In the 3000 block of Mustang Drive, on the North side
of the roadway West to the intersection of Mustang Drive and
Texas Highway 121 .
On the South side of Mustang Drive f rom a position 100
feet West of 3059 Mustang Drive (The western most building
at Regional Place Apartments) West to the intersections of
Mustang Drive and Texas Highway 121 .
SECTION II . The City Code of the City of Grapevine ,
Texas , Title 9, Chapter 2, Section 2, is hereby amended by
adding Stop Signs at certain locations described herein:

On the Southeast corner of Eckley Street at its inter-
,�,,.,� section with East Worth Street.
On the Northwest corner of Eckley Street at its inter-
section with East Worth Street.
SECTION III . If any section, sentence, phrase , word,
paragraph or provisions of this ordinance or the application
of that section, sentence , phrase , word, paragraph, or pro-
vision to any person, situation or circumstances is for any
reason adjudged invalid, the adjudication shall not affect
any other section, sentence , phrase, word, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance or the application of any other
section, sentence , phrase, word, paragraph or provision to
any other pe rson, situation or circumstances , nor shall such
adjudication affect any other section, sentence , phrase, word,
paragraph or provision of the Grapevine City Code . The City
Council declares that it would have adopted the valid por-
tions and applications of this ordinance without the invalid
part , and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable .
SECTION IV. A person, firm or corporation violating
the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
��y� guilty of a misdemanor, and shall be fined not less than One
Dollar (,$1 .00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200. ) .

SECTION V. The fact that the present ordinance and
regulations of the City of Grapevine , Texas are inadequate
to properly safeguard the health, safety, morals , peace and
general weltare ot the inhabitants ot the City of Grapevine,
Texas , creates an emergency for the immediate preservation
of public business , property, health, safety and general wel-
fare of the public which requires that t3� is ordinance shall
become effective f rom and after the date of its passage and
it is accor�lingly so ordained.
