Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to arder. Councilman Dalton gave
the invocation, `

Change Applicatian Z '71-26 on whXCh Virgil R. Sanders and others =

requested �1C-2" Zoning. Mr. Sanders presented this app].ication
to the council and Zoning Board ar�d stated that the purpose af �he �
Zone change request was to permit a luxury hotel on the property �
described in the application. i

AFter muci� discus�ion and cl.ebate, and everyane present tvas given
an opportunity to speak in their intexest of the zone change �
application, tk�e Mayor declared the meeting closed and instructed �
the Planning & Zoning Board to make their report to the Council
at the next regular meeting. _
