AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 78-58, SECTION 1,
SUBSECTION A (5) RELATIVE TO PUNCH C�RDS �ND
BY ADDING SECTION 1, SUBSECTION C REL�,TTVE TO
GOLF CAF�T FEES AND GOLF LESSON FEES; PROVIDING
A 5EVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDING 7� PENALTY AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY C�iUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section l. That Section 1, A (5) is hereby amended
to read as follows:
(5) Punch Card - Purchase of punch card entitles
holder to fifty (50) rounds af golf for a
fee of $125.00.
Section 2. That Section 1 is hereby amended to
include the followir� :
(C) Cart, Lessons, and Range Ball Fee:
1• Elect:_ric Golf Carts $ 9.00 + tax (18 holes)
5.00 + tax ( 9 holes)
2. Private Motorized Golf
Carts 4. 50 (18 holes)
2.50 ( 9 holes)
3. Pull Carts 1.00 + tax

4. Range Balls . 75 (25 - 30 balls)
5. Golf Lessons:
Head Professional $10.00
Assistant Pro 8.00
Section 3. Severability - If any section, article,
paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance,
or application thereto to any person or circumstances is held
invalid or unconsLi���ional by a Court of competent jurisdic-
tion such holding shall not affect the validity of the re-
maining portions of the ordinance; and the City Council here-
by declares it would have passed such remaining portions of
the ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining por-
tions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. Penalty - An y person violating any of
the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of
,,,�, a misdeameanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
in a sum not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00) and a
separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day
'irwr during or on which a violation occurs or continues after the
notice peroid provided herein has expired. The Court shall
order removal and abatement of the nuisance.
Section 5. Emergency - The fact that no present
ordinances of the City of Grapevine establishing green fees
at the Grapevine Municipal Golf Course exist, creates an
urgency and an emergency and in the preservation of the
public health, safety and welfare requires that this
ordinance shall take effect immediately fram
and after its passage and the publication of the
caption as the law and charter in such cases provides.
DULY PASSED BY the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, this the 17th day of October, 1978.
