� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Harwell �
gave the invocation. The minutes of September 7, 1971 were
read and approved.
iCounty Commissioner Dick Lewis was present and related to the
� Council his plans to participate in construction of roads in
� the Southwest section of the City.
� Councilman Eidson made a motion to accept the bid of First
INational Bank of Grapevine for depository of City funds for a
, 2 year period. Motion seconded by Councilman Thompson.
� Motion prevailed by the following vote:
� ',, Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Eidson, Thompson, parker & Harwell.

Noes : None

� Councilman Harwell made a motion to pass Ordinance 71-29 on
� first reading. Motion was seconded by Councilman Eidson.

� AN ORDINANCE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF CATS AND DOGS
I ALLOWED IN THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE EXCEPTION
� FOR THE LIMITATION OF DOGS AND CATS ON PREMISES
� USED FOR RESIDENTIAL PRUPOSES; PROHIBITING THE
� KEEPING OF WILD ANIMALS ON PREMISES USED FOR
� RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUM-
� STANCES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING
! A PENALTY.

jl The application of Mr. E. B. Yale to build a self-service
i gas station on Block 49A, A. F. Leonard Survey on E. Northwest
� f Highway was read. Councilman Eidson made a motion to dis-
� approve this application. Councilman Thompson seconded the
'� motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote:

; Ayes: Councilmen Eidson, Thompson and Mayor Pirkle.
�' Noes: Councilmen Parker and Harwell.
! Not Voting: Councilman Dalton.

Councilman Harwell made a motion to adopt the Code of Rules and
$ Regulations of the Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Airport Board dated
� September 1971, on first reading. Councilman Parker seconded the
'� motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Eidson„ Thompson, Parker & Harwell .
Noes : None

� Councilman Dalton made a motion to approve the tax roll for 1971 . ',
