Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Thompson t gave the invocation. � � �: � Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass Ordinance 71-30 on � 3 first reading. Councilman Harwell seconded the motion . Councilman Dalton made � a motion to approve the Planning & Zoning Commission recommenda- � �. tion. Councilman Thompson seconded the motion . Motion pre- � vailed by the following vote: �: �` � Ayes : Councilman Dalton, Thompson , Eidson , Harwell and Parker . � No2s : None � � � �s � �. �- The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended to approve the application of Bobby J. Gaskill to place a mobile home on his property on Dove Road. Councilman Dalton made a motion to approve the Planning & Zoning Commission' s re- commendation. Councilman Parker seconded the motion . Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes; Councilman Dalton , Tho mpson, Eidson, Harwell and Parker. Noes : None ` � The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended to approve the ' application of Omega Industries to place a mobile home on their property on Jean Street to use as temporary office space. Councilman Eidson made a motion to approve the Planning & Zoning Commission' s recommendation. Councilman Thompson seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Thompson, Eidson , Harwell and Parker. Noes : None Councilman Thompson made a motion to pass Ordinance 71-29 on second reading . Councilman Parker seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Councilmen Dalton, Thompson, Eidson, Harwell and parker. � Noes: None ORDINANCE 71-29 ` AN ORDINANCE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF CATS AND DOGS ALLOWED IN THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE EXCEPTION FOR THE LIMITATION OF DOGS AND CATS ON PREMISES i - USED FOR RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES; PROHIBITING THE KEEPING O F WILD ANIMALS ON PREMISES USED FOR RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUM- STANCES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CIAUSE; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. Councilman Harwell made a motion to grant Bill Reed a 90 day extension on the Specific Use Permit on the Claude Chambers property on Dove Road. Councilman Thompson seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the followin g vote: Ayes : Councilmen Dalton, Thompson, Eldson, Harwell an d Parker. Noes : None � Councilman Harwell made a motion to start proceedings to annex part of Grapevine Lake. Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Thompson, Eidson, Harwell and Parker. Noes : None Meeting adjourned.
