= On the 18th day of January 1972, at 8:00 P.M. , the City
Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in regular
� session with the following members present: � i

Phil Parker )

Lee Thompson ) �
Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Thompson
gave the invocation. The minutes of the previous meeting of
s
January 4th, 1972 were read and approved.
� Messrs. Whitmore, Handy and Parsley were present and related
to the council some of the problems they were having with stray
' dogs, garbage collection and septic systems in the Grapevine
k Lake Estates.
Charles Page of Texas Power & Light Company was present to
make a formal request and to answer questions relative to the �
rate increase requested by Texas Power & Light Company. After �
� due discussion, a written Ordinance No. 72-3 was intro�.uced.
; Councilman Harwell made a motion that the Ordianance be taken
; up and considered as an emergency measure. Councilman Dalton
� seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following �
vote:
AYes: Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton and Thompson.
Noes: None
; The Mayor then declared the Ordinance to be an emergency..
Councilman Harwell made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-3.
Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by
� the following vote: �
Ayes: Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton and Thompson.
Noes: None
Mr. Leon Zetley presented the site plan for development of the
Littlejohn Addition. The council decided the Specific Use
Permit issued to William Elder would not be valid for use on '
the plans presented by Mr. Zetley. No further action was taken
on this issue at this time.
Mr. Bob Powers of Hankins, Powers and Hood, auditing firm
presented the 1971 audit report to the City Council.
Councilman Parker made a motion to accept the audit report.
Councilman Eidson seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton and Thompson.
Noes: None

I Councilman Parker made a motion to take bids on a lot owned
' by the City in Shorecrest Acres. Councilman Dalton seconded
� the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote: s

� Ayes: Councilman Parker, Harwell, Eidson, Dalton and Thompson.
i Noes: None

� Councilman Harwell made a motion to pass Resolution R72-2,
I a resolution calling for an election to be held for the pur-
� pose of electing three councilman, places 3, 4, 5 on the City
� ? Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas. Councilman Thompson
�
� seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote: k
