� On Tuesday night May 2, 1972 at 8:00 P.M. the City Council of �
� the City of Grapevine, Texas met in regular meeting with the �
' following members present: �

' Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Parker gave �
� the invocation. �

� Bruce Weatherford spoke to the City Council about a location for :'
� the Boy Scout Hut. Mr. Weatherford was to check on future sites �
� and report back to the Council at a later date. �
� �

� A report f rom the Police Department on the results of a study of
t the parking regulations along Austin Street between E. Franklin �
� and E. Worth was read. The Police Department recommended that �
the No Parking regulations between E. Worth and E. Franklin �
; Streets be deleted.
� �

§ Resolution R72-14, a resolution amending Title 9, Chapter 4, �
Section 4, Subsection G was introduced and read in full . Council- �
man Eidson made a motion to pass Resolution R72-14. Councilman =
° Parker seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the follow- �
; ing vote: = �

� Ayes : Councilmen Dalton, Parker, Pittard and Eidson. �
� Noes : None �

Resolutions R72-12 and R72-13, resolutions of appreciation to
Mr. A1 Harwell and Mr. Lee Thompson was read. Councilman Eidson

made a motion to pass both resolutions and that City Secretary �
� be instructed to spread a copy of such resolution upon the City %
�
records and to transmit a copy thereof to Mr. Harwell and Mr. '

E Thompson. Councilman Pittard seconded the motion. The motion �
prevailed by the following vote: �

Noes : None �

� Councilman Parker made a motion to proceed with paving the parking �
: lot at the City Swimming Pool . Councilman Pittard seconded the �

motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: �

Noes : None �
Councilman Dalton made a motion to replat Lot 28, Block 10, in �
Grapevine Lake Estates . The Planning & Zoning Board recommended �
to replat this lot. Councilman Parker seconded the motion. �

The Planning & Zoning Board recommended that a plat revision
of certain lots as shown on the plat in the second section
of Placid Peninsula Addition be approved. Councilman Pittard
made a motion that the revised plat be approved. Councilman
Dalton seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes : Councilmen Parker, Pittard, Eidson and Dalton.
Noes: None

A plat change of Lots 7-8-9-10-11 and a portion of Brookcrest
Lane in the Reed Addition to Grapevine Lake Estates was sub-
mitted. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval
of the plat as submitted. .
Councilman Pittard made a motion to approve the plat as sub-
mitted. Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. The motion
prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes : Councilmen Pittard, Parker, Eidson and Dalton.
Noes: None
A plat of the O�Dell Sub-divisiun to the City of Grapevine,
Texas was submitted for approval. The Planning & Zoning
Commission recommended approval of the plat as submitted.
Councilman Pittard made a motion to approve the plat.
Councilman Eidson seconded the motion. The motion prevailed
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Eidson, Pittard and Parker.
Noes: None
Meeting adjourned.
