On Friday June 30th at 7:30 P.M. the City Council of the
City of Grapevine , Texas met in a called meeting with the
following members present:

Doil Dalton )
Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Phil Parker gave
the invocation.
An offer from Tarrant Utilities to sell the water line serving
Rolling Hills Lane was read. Councilman Parker made a motion
for the City Manager to negotiate with Tarrant Utilities for
the best price €or the water line up to $3800.00. Councilman
Eidson seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes : Parker, Eidson, Pittard, Conine, Dalton and Pirkle.
Noes : None
The results of .the special election to elect a councilman for
Place 6 was read as follows :
Robbie M. Hillard. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 44 votes
E. Frank Caster. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20 votes
William D. Tate. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .244 votes
Robert D. Hobbie. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 17 votes
After the vates were canvassed, Councilman Parker made a motion
to certify the count on the votes . Councilman Dalton seconded
the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ryes : Parker, Eidson, Pittard, Conine, Dalton and Pirkle.
Noes : None
Councilman Pittard made a motion to proceed with plans to lease
a building for the library and to remodel the present council
room and library. Councilmaln Dalton seconded the motion.
The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Parker, Eidson, Pittard, Conine, Dalton and Pirkle.
Noes : None
Meeting adjourned.
