Councilman Dalton gave � � the invocation. The minutes of the previous meetings we�e read � � and approved. � ; � Councilman Eidson made a motion to accept the resignation of � t City Attorney William D. Tate. Councilman Dalton seconded the � � motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: � � Ayes : Dalton, Parker, Eidson, Pittard, Conine and Pirkle. � Nves: None � S T � City Manager Floy Ezell administered the oath of office to � William D. Tate, Councilman elect for Place 6 on the City Council � � of the City of Grapevine, Texas . � � The Planning & Zoning Commission' s report on Zone Chan ge Applica- �' tion Z 72-10 was rsad. Councilman Eidson made a motion to grant � � a Specific Use Permit for apartments according to plans presented � k with a 1 year time limit for beginning of construction and to � pass Ordinance 72-22 on first reading authorizing permit. � Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by � � the following vote: � 9 Ayes ; Dalton, Parker, Eidson , Conine, Pirkle and Tate. � Noes : Pittard � � � � 4 { ORDINANCE 72-22 j � 3 1 '; AN ORDINANCE AN�NDING THE ?ANING ORDINANCE � � AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, � TEXAS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING DISTRICT � ; OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF BRYAN T. SNOWDEN TO � � "SPECIF'IC USE PERMIT" FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ` APARTMENTS; PLACING A ONE YEAR LIMIT ON � SAID PERMIT; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS �: �� �LAt,'SE. b9r. Ray Hutchison, Attornev, was present and submitted his firms --- proposal to fill the position of City Attorney. Mr. Conner Lam, Attorney, was present and submitted his proposal to fill the position of City Attorney. No action was taken on the two proposals pending further study. Councilman Eidson made a motion to abandon the alley along the west side of Lot 6, Block 33, Grapevine Survey owned by Ann Carlson. An easement was to be retained and the adjoining o�sers�-was to bear any expenses involved in conveying title to them. Councilman Parker seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: °� Ayes; Dalton, parker, Eidson , Conine, Pirkle, Tate and Pittard. Noes; None Councilman Dalton made a motion to table any action on the proposed revision of the Land Use Plan and the Zoning Ordinance. Councilman Eidson seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: i Ayes: Dalton, Parker, Eidson, Conine, Pirkle, Tate and Pittard. Noes: None Councilman Pittard made a motion to appoint Dr. Sam L. Gladney as City Health Officer. Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Dalton , Parker , Eidson, Conine, Pirkle, Tate and Pittard. ; Noes: None Councilman Dalton made a motion to send Dr. Aliison a Certificate of Appreciation for his many years of service to the city. Councilman Pittard seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: ,, Ayes: Dalton, Parker, Eidson, Conine, Pirkle , Tate and Pittard. Noes ; None Councilman Pittard made a motion that the city apply for a grant to assist in putting sewer lines to the Northwest section of the city. Councilman Eidson seconded the motion. The motion pre- vailed by the following vote: Ayes: Dalton, Parker, Eidson, Conine, Pirkle, Tate and Pittard. Noes : None Resolution R72-22, a resolution regulating parking on West Worth St. between Main and Barton Streets was introduced and read in full. Councilman Parker made a motion to pass said resolution. Councilman Pittard seconded the motion . The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Dalton, Parker, Eidson, Conine, Pirkle, Tate and Pittard.
