Tate ) � :,; Councilman Phil Parker was absent . r t � Mayor Pirkle called the meetina to order and Councilman Dalton � ; gave the invocation. � ; � � Dr. Sam L. Gladney, who was appointed City Health Officer on � � July llth was present and was introduced to the Council and � � took the oath of office. � � ; i � The appointment of an Electrical Board member, to replace Bill � ' Cumbie who resigned, was considered. Councilman Dalton made a � motion to appoint Dennis Roberts to the Electrical Board. Motion seconded by Councilman Tate . Motion prevailed by the � :' following vote: � } i Ayes: Conine, Eidson, Dalton, Pittard, Pirkle and Tate. ' ' Noes : None ? a � ' ? Ordinance 72-22 was read on second and final reading . Council- � � man Eidson made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-22 on second and � final reading . Motion seconded by Councilman Pittard. SNOWDEN TO ; "SPECIFIC USE PERMIT" FOR CONSTRUCTION OF � APARTMENTS; PLACING A ONE YEAR LIMIT ON ; '::b SAID PERMIT; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS ' ? A £ AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY o � � ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, � TEXAS: PROVIDING THAT THE AREA DESCRIBED BELOW, � ' SHALL BECOME A PART OF THE SAID CITY AND THAT � � THE OWNERS AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE � " ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS � � OF SAID CITY AND BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES = NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREAFTER ADOPTED: FURTHER � � PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL ; � BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS � AMENDED CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE. � , � Ordinance 72-21 was read on second and final reading. Councilman Pittard made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-21 on second and final reading . Motion seconded by Councilwoman Conine. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Conine, Eidson, Dalton, Pirkle, Pittard and Tate. Noes: None ORDINANCE NO. 72-21 ' ; AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING. ORDINANCE AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , SO AS TO CHAIVGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF STEWARD BROTHERS FROM "R-1" SINGLE FAMILY ZONING DISTRICT TO "R-3" MULTI-FAMILY ZONING DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. The Council discussed naming of the several city parks . It was decided that the Parks & Recreation Board should make a study of same and make recommendations to the City Council. ��.i',c,,,�s- - Mr. Bil�l McVay, representative of the Oak Grove Planned Development project was present and requested that his company be permitted to establish a 20 foot front building line on the project . It was determined that this request could be handled by the Building Inspector by authority of the Zoning Ordinance 70-10. A report of the Building Inspector, concerning a dilapidated and dangerous house on Lot 6 &7, Block 14, College Heights Addition, was reviewed.
