AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 2, SECTION
�° 2 AND 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, BY ADDING STOP SIGNS AND YIELD SIGNS AT
CERTAIN LOCATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING A
�"' SEVER.ABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. The City Code of Grapevine, Texas, Title 9,
G`hapter 2, Section 2, is hereby amended by adding stop signs
at certain locations described herein:
On eastbound Grapevine High School Parking 1ot at
Timberline Drive.
On northbound Kerri Drive at Timberline
On northbound Briarwood at Columbine

On eastbound Oak Forest at Briarwood
On westbound Oak Forest at Briarwood

On eastbound Oak Forest at Tanglewood
On eastbound Columbine at Tanglewood
On eastbound Canyon at Tanglewood
On eastbound Wentwood at Tanglewood
On northbound Oak Creek at Cresthaven
On eastbound Cresthaven at Tanglewood
On eastbound Ridgewood at Tanglewood
On eastbound Harvest Hill at Tanglewood
On eastbound Brookshire at Tanglewood

Section 2. The City Code of Grapevine, Texas, Title 9,
Chapter 2, Section 3 is hereby amended by adding yield right-
of-way signs at certain locations described herein:
On eastbound Oak Forest at Oak Creek
On westbound Oak Forest at Oak Creek
On eastbound Wentwood at Oak Creek
On westbound Wentwood at Oak Creek
On eastbound Canyon at Oak Creek
On westbound Canyon at Oak Creek

Section 3. If any section, sentence, phrase, word,
paragraph or provisions of this ordinance or the application
of that section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph, or provision
to any person, situation or circumstances is for any reason
adjudged invalid, the adjudication shall not affect any other
section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance or the application of any other section, sentence,
phrase, word, paragraph or provision to any other person,
situation or circumstances, nor shall such adjudication affect
any other section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or pro-
vision of the Grapevine City Code. The City Council declares
�* that it would have adopted the valid portions and applications
of this ordinance, without the invalid part, and to this end
the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.

Section 4. A person, firm or corporation violating the
terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than One Dollar
($1.00) nor more than 1�ao Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
Section 5. The fact that the present ordinance and
regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate
to properly safeguard, the health, safety, morals, peace,
and general welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, creates an emergency for the immediate
�' preservation of public business, property, health, safety
and general welfare of the public which requires that this
' ordinance shall become effective from and after the date
�"" of its passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, on this the 18 day of October , 1977.
