SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF ANNUAL SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL FOR
PERMITTING
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the renewal of an annual software license for
permitting from MyGov, LLC for the Development Services Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the IT License & Maintenance Fees budget for an
annual estimated amount of $22,320.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is to renew a contract with MyGov, LLC to maintain
permitting and code enforcement data. The City of Grapevine
Development Services Department as well as Public Works and the Fire
Department have been using MyGov for these services since 2010.
This procurement will be made as a sole source purchase in accordance
with Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, § 252.022.
General Exemptions (a) (7) (A).
Staff recommends approval.
