� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Dalton �
gave the invocation. f

� The minutes of the previous meeting of August l , 1972 were �
� read and approved. �
� Councilman Tate made a motion to appoint Ray Hutchinson as �

� City Attorney. Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. The �
� motion prevailed by the following vote: �

� Ayes: Dalton, Eidson, Parker, Conine, Pittard, Tate & Pirkle. #

� Dr. Martin, Jerrell Thompson and Rose Husbands spoY.e to the �
� Council regarding the parking on West Worth Street between �
� Main and Barton. They were in agreement to limit parking
� in this area to 2 hours . �

� Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass -Resolution R72-24 �
� regulating parking in this area so as to limit the parking �
� to two hours . Councilman Tate seconded the motion. The `
motion prevailed by the following vote: �

� Ayes : Dalton, Eidson, Parker, Conine , Pittard, Tate & Pirkle. F
� Noes: None �
� Councilman Pittard made a motion that the City participate ;
� in the Fireman ' s Certification Program for the balance of the ;
� year in the amount of $80.00. Councilwoman Conine seconded
the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

� Councilman Eidson made a motion to accept the resignation of ;
� Beverly Horton from the Parks & Recreation Board. Councilman ;

� Councilman Dalton made a motion to appoint Millard Dilg to �
� the Park & Recreation Board. Councilman Pittard seconded the �

Councilman Parker made a motion to approve the construction
plans submitted for the Billy Underwood Development on Dove
Road provided the specifications were made for standard muller
fire plugs . Councilwoman Conine seconded the motion. The

• Councilman Pittard made a motion to table any action on the
Love Park Development Zoning at this time. Councilman Dalton
seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes : Dalton, Eidson, Parker, Conine , Pittard, Tate & Pirkle.
