On Tuesday night September 12th, 19Z2 at 8:00 P.M. , the {
City Council of the City of Grapevine , Texas met in a �"`"
special meeting with the following members present;
� Willis Pirkle Mayor �
� Phil Parker )
� Thelma Conine )
Tommy Eidson ) Members of
Bill Tate ) Council
Doil Dalton )
Councilman Pittard was absent .
' Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Bill' Vandeventer
� gave the invocation.
Mayor Pirkle stated this meeting was called for the purpose
; of holding a public hearing on the proposed 1972-73 budget . _
�
City Manager Floy Ezell presented the proposed budget for the
fiscal year 1972-73 to the members of the council present.
After discussion of the proposed budget , Councilman Eidson 4
�
made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-25, an ordinance adopting �
the budget for the fiscal year 1972-73. Councilwoman
� Conine seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
�
Ayes: Pirkle , Parker, Conine, Eidson, Tate and Dalton. (
Noes : None �
The Council discussed the charges made by the City for water {'
:I taps . There being different circumstances which enter into
,'' the cost of making various taps , the council was in agreement �
to amend the ordinance regulating the water tap charges . $
