" and the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine ,
i Texas met in joint meeting with the following members present:

� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Ted Ware gave •the
invocation.
Mayor Pirkle stated this meeting was called for the purpose of �
; holding a public hearing on Zone Change Application Z 72-15. �
William K. Reed, Trustee, requested "Planned Development" on a `
tract of land in the Thomas Mahan Survey. Raymond Darrow presented
the plans for the development to the City Council and the Planning �:
� and Zoning Commission. �

After everyone present was given an opportunity to speak in behalf `
of their interest in this zoning change request , Mayor Pirkle �
dec�aared the public hearing closed and instructed the Planning and j.
;� Zoning Commission to make their recommendation to the City Council F
at the next regular meeting . `
' The City Council continued in session. The bid for the dirt work =
� on Dove Road West , made by the Edarp Corporation in the amount of =
$8 ,640.00 was considered to be unacceptable. Councilman Eidson ?
made a motion to reject this bid. Councilman Tate seconded the
motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
; Ayes: Tate, Pittard, Conine, Eidson, Parker, Dalton, and Pirkle.
`� Noes: None
� Since the bids were advertised twice as prescribed by law and no
bids were rec�ived on the first advertisement and only one bid
� received on the second advertisement and it being unacceptable the
3 council considered the possibility of negotiating for a price of
40� per cubic yard to have the dirt work done . Councilman Eidson
made a motion to have the work done for 40� per cubic yard.
� Councilman Dalton seconded the motion . The motion prevailed by �
� the following vote: � �

; Ayes: Pittard, Conine , Eidson, Parker, Dalton, Tate and Pirkle .
� Noes: None
