i On Tuesday night November 28 , 1972 at 7: 30 P.M. the Planning
and Zoning Commission and the City Council met in joint mee�ting �
' with the following members present: ;

� Jerry Jordan was absent .
� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Mr. Ware gave the
� invocation. Mayor Pirkle stated this meeting was a public
i hearing on the following zoning cases as advertised - Z72-16,
Z72-17, and Z72-18.
Mr. Millard Dilg presented Case Z72-16 . This application was for
�j ,� a change of zoning on a tract of land out of the R. Leonard Survey
� ; f rom R-2 and C-2 to L-1 Limited Industrial . Mr. Dilg explained
f his plans for this property to the Council and Planning & Zoning
� Commission. No one present voiced any objection to this request.

; Mr. George Duke presented case Z72-17. This application was for
' a change of zoning on a tract of land out of the W. Allen Survey,
Abstract 34 from R-1 to Planned Development . Mr. Duke explained
,; the development plans for this property to the Council and the
j Planning & Zoning Commission. People who spoke in objection to
� this zoning change were George Hurst, Rex Boyd and Charlie Greene.
� Mr. Larry McVay presented Case Z72-18. Billy G. Underwood requested
'' Specific Use Permit Zoning on a tract of land out of the Esther
? Moore Survey, Abstract 1029, for a concrete batch plant. No one
; present voiced any objection to this zoning change . After all
persons present were given an opportunity to speak in their
; interest of these zoning change requests , Mayor Pirkle declared
the hearing closed and instructed the Planning & Zoning Commission
� to make th�ir recommendations to the Council atthe next regular
� meeting .
