On Thursday night December 28 , 1972 at 7:30 P.M. the City
' Council �nd the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of
� Grapevine, Texas met in joint meeting with the following �

{ Councilmen Tate, Pittard and Eidson were absent. �

� Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Mr. Ware gave the
�' invocation.

� Mayor Pirkle stated this meeting was for public hearing on zone
� change applications Z72-19 , Z72-20 and Z72-21 . �

Mr. Joe Wright presented case Z 72-19 on which he requested
Light Industrial Zoning on a tract of land in the A. Foster %
j Survey. Mr. Wright explained that he wanted to build mini
�j warehouses on the property in question. No one present objected
" to the requested zoning .

j Mr. Billy Underwood, Jr. presented case Z 72-20 on which he
j requested "Planned Development" on a tract of land in the
� McKinney & Williams Survey. Mr. Underwood submitted a preliminary t
plat for the Planned Development . No one present voiced any #"
� i
objection to the requested zoning .

j Mr. Bill Reed presented case Z 72-21 on which he requested
i Planned Development on a tract of land in the W. P. Herring Survey.
? Mr. Reed introduced Mr. Ray Olds , architect , who presented the
� Development Site Plan for the Planned Development zoning for
� apartments .

� Mrs . Elliott and Mrs . Smith who live in Southshore Acres Addition �n
F spoke in objection to the requested zoning . They felt the apart-
� ment zoning would r�ot be compatable with the single family zoning
� in the Southshore Acres Addition. a

� After all present were given an opportunity to speak in their
! interests of these zoning applications , Mayor Pirkle declared
! the hearing closed and instructed the Planning & Zoning Commission �
�' to make their recommendations to the City Council at the regular �
j ; meeting of January 2, 1973. �

' Meeting adjourned.
