Benedict ) � Councilman Thompson was absent. � Planning an d Zoning Commission Harlen Joyce Howard Parsley i Jerry Jordan ' Phil Parker Joe Kennedy � Ted Ware � Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order and Councilman Harwell gave the invocation. t,;, The purpose of the joint meeting was for public hearings on Rezone Applications 69-29, 69-30 and 69-31. Application 69-29 was considered. C� E. Millican requested "E" Modified .for Mobile Homes on his Lot 2, Block 10, B� H� Starr Addition. Persons present were given an opportunity to be he ard. Application 69-30 was considered. Dr. D. R. Hranitzky re- quested "J & K" Industrial Zoning on his Lot 4A4, in the BBB & CRR Survey, Abstract 205. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. Application 69-31 was considered. Mary Joe Stump requested r'C & D" Multiple Dwelling District on Lots 2J, 2J2, 2K and i 2J1 in the E. Moore Survey. Persons present were �i�cen an opportunity to be heard. � Public Hearing was declared closed and Chairmari Harlen Joyce informed persons present that the Planning and Zoning Commission will study the applications and make their recommendation to the City Council. S: Benedict ) �; A1 Harwell ) �: Councilman Thompson was absent. The minutes of the previous meetings of September 16th, 18th, and 23rd were read and approved. Mrs. Maude Tri and W. B. Tri were resent and Mrs. Tri 's �' J9 99 P 99 application for the City to abandon the alley adjacent to her �', Lot 4, Block 34, Grapevine Survey was reviewed. Councilman k Eidson made a MOTION that said alley be abandoned by the City, providing Mrs. Trigg will have the necessary legal documents prepared. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Harwell. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: � Ayes: Councilmen Benedict, Eidson, Dalton and Harwell. f Noes: None � i . r The replat of Brookhollow Estates, Section II was considered. �'; The replat consisted of error corrections on lot distances �, and building lines. Councilman Harwell made a MOTION to approve said replat of Brookhollow Estates, Section II. � Motion SECONDED By Councilman Dalton. Motion PREVAILED by � the following vote: � � Ayes: Councilmen Dalton; Eidson, Harwell and Benedict. �' Noes: None � ! � Re�one Application 69-25 was considered. The Planning and � Zoning Commission recommended to disapprove said application � on which Fenton Alley, D. D. Patteson, Ruth Bell and E, E. � Fran cis requested a Specific Use Permit for 4 plex apartments on Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 2, B�;.laire Addition. Action on � this application was deferred pending a more detailed pl.�t � plan showing parking provisions and general information. �'' � Reaone Application 69-26, on which A. E. Stone requested , ;` "J & K" Industrial Zoning on his 357 acres in the J. Cate, �, C. Clanton, J. B. Fay and Wm. Bradford Surveys was considered. �; The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to approve £ said application providing said zoning carries the proper �: avigation release to the City of Grapevine. Councilman Eidson made a MOTION to accept the recommendation of the � Planning and Zoning Commission and to authorize the•prepara- � tion of the Ordinance making the change official and that 4; the avigation release to be completed within 60 days. � Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: -�' �' z ;, _ ::� Ayes: Councilmen Eidson, Benedict, Dalton and Harwell. The Planning and Zoning r, Commission recommended to approve said application provid- ` k ing said zoning carried the proper avigation release to the ;: City of Grapevine. Councilman Harwell made a MOTION to authorize the preparation of an ordinance to amend the City Code so as to provide for - � weekly pay period for the departmental employees and semi- � ' weekly pay period for department heads.
