and Dallas by way of Seymour are major traffic arteries of the
utmost importance; and
WHEREAS, a presentation was given 'by the U.S. 82 ® Texas
199 Committee on April 3, 1972, to the Texas Highway Commission
requesting the up-grading of U.S. 82 and Texas 199 along said
route to a four-lane, divided highway; and
WHEREAS, Dallas and Fort Worth, together with Dallas and
THEREFORE, the City of Grapevine, in addition to requests
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS this 17th day of October —, 1972.
