Members present were Mayor Woods and Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Da.lton and Foust. Councilman Huber was absent. Minutes of the Previous meeting were read and approved. 015 Mr. Clarence I�erndon and Mr. 8� Mrs. Bill Tillery were present to find out the Councilts findirigs of investigation on their complaint about the Police Department. 020 Aririexatiori Ordinance No. 67-12 was read on second reading. Motior� by Councilman Pirkle, seconded by Councilman Benedict to pass and approve Annexation ,Ordinance No. 67-12 on second and final reading. Motion carried by a yes vote by Councilman Benedic�, Pirkie, Dalton and Foust. There were no noes. There were no noes. � l ' � 071 Quotations on the purchase of a pick-up truck for the Water Depart- ment were reviewed. Quotations were - Hudiburg Chevrolet , �1 ,753. 18; Payton-Wright Ford, $1612.00; Dodge Trucks, Inc. , �I�793•48; Ted Lyons International Dealer, �1 ,706.3�.; and � Calvert Motors, (L.H. Woods) �1,703.75. Motion by Councilman . Pirkle, seconded by Councilman Foust to accept the Quotation of Calvert Motors for $1703.75. Motion carried by a yes vote by - Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Dalton and FDUSt. There were no noes. f 100 Annexation Ordinar�ce 67-13 was read and discussed. There were rio noes. 372 Motion by C�uncilman Dalton, seconded by Councilmat� Pirkle to engage the services of A.W. Brunson to do building inspectiarts for the City on a fee basis. Motion carried by a yes vote by Courlcilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Dalton� arld Foust. 'There were no �oes. 028 THe proposal for preparation of � comprehensive city plan by Freese, Nichols and Endress and Rober�: W. �ea3dtarell: . & Associates was read and discussed. Motion by Councilman Foust, seconded by Ca�tt�c-i lmar�' Pirkle. to accept the proposal of Freese, Nichols & Endress at�d R,obert W. Caldwell for the preparatiort of the City�s Comprehensive City Plan. Motion carried by a yes vote by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle , Dalton� and Foust. There were no noes.
