Members present were May or Woods and Councilmen Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. Councilman Benedict was absent. . Mr. Robert Phifer and Mr. David Rankirt of David Rankin & Compar�y were present to submit to the Counci. l a proposal for a Financial Advisory Contract. No official action was tak�n pending further study .of the matter. � � � A public hearing was held on this date for the purpose of giving interested persons an opportunity to be heard in conrlection with ,�"' requests for change of zonings�o� e��i 6f �le�ie�r�F�r o��cr,��d �,-b�a�^�i�s.� Motion by Councilman Pirkle , seconded by Councilman Foust to accept the Plarinir�g and 2oning Commissionts recommendatioR to disapprove the request on Application 67-6 to rez�ne Lot 7, Block 1 in the J.J. Daniel 5urvey to "C�D" Dwelling District � f "r.om "A" Residential Dwelling District. Motion carried by a yes vote by Councilmer� Pirkle , Huber, Dalton atxl Foust. There were no noes. Motion by Cour�cilman Foust , seconded by Councilmar� Dalton to accept the Planning and 2or�ing Commissibt��s recommendation and approve the req�est on Application No. 67-7 to rezone Lot 9, Block 3 in the J.J. Daniel Addition to "B" Residential District from '�A" Residen- tial District and pass Ordinance No. 67-14 enacting the change. Motion carried by a yes vote by Cov.ncilmen Pirkle,Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were no noes. ORDINANCE 67-1�. Motion carried by -a yes vote by Councilmen Pirkle , Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were no noes. The need for sewer improvements ot� N�.sh �treet and bet.ween E. Wall and E. Northwest Highway was discussed. Motiot� by Councilman Dalton seconded by Cnuncilman Foust to authorize the cortstruction of a sewer line on Riash Street from Terrell St. to the begirining of the 10" line on Berry �treet; and a sewer line betweed E. Wall St. and E. Northwest Highway from behing Smith�s Cafe to the East Sewer outfall. Motion carried by a yes vote -by Counciimen Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. T�ere were no noes.
