WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to construct
a Sewage Treatment Plant and related outfall lines in
the Bear Creek water shed in the Southwest portion of
' the City, and
� { WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has engaged the
services of consulting engineers, Freese, Nichols and
Endress to prepare and furnish plans, specifications,
and other necessary documents and services necessary for
the final accomplishment of said project, and,
WHEREAS, said project has been duly and timely ad-
vertised for the taking of bids, and,
WHEREAS, Freese, Nichols and Endress tabulated and
evaluated the bids and made the following recommendation:
THAT Section I , Outfall lines A, B, and C, be
awarded to �111ison and Henry Contractors in
the amount of $53,065.86 and Section II,
Sewage Treatment Plant, be awarded to Ruff
Construction Company in the amount of
$79,777.00; said awards subject to the
following:
l. A waste discharge permit being
granted by the Texas Water Quality
Boarc3..
2. Concurrence in the award by the
Texas Water Quality Board and the
Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council reviewed said
bid tabulations and recommendation of the engineers, and,

WHER�AS, the Mayor and City Council approve said
recommendation
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that Section I be
� awarded to Allison & Henry Contractors and Section II
�
� be awarded to Ruff Constru�ction Company; said awards
subject to above recommendation by Freese, Nichols and Endress
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of November, 1969.
