BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE� TEXAS;

I.
That Title 3, Chapter 1, Section 1 is hereby amended by substituting
in lieu thereof the following language:
ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE: There is hereby adopted for
the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for
the construction, alteration, removal, demolition,
equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance
of buildings and structures, that certain Building Code,
known as tne Uniform Building Code, 1973 Edition, and
each succeading revision thereof. Three (3� copies of
said Code have been and are now filed in the office of
the Clerk, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated
as fully as if set out at length herein and the provisions
thereof shal.l be controlling in the construction of all �
buildings and other structures.

�,, ,, I'� being for the public welfare that this ordinance be passed and
each amendment be made, there exists an emer�ency and public
necessity that the rule requiring this Ordinance to be read on t�ro several
�"" occasions be and the same is hereby waived and this Ordinance shall now be
placed on its second and final reading to its passage and shall be in
full force and effect frorn and after its passage and approval.
