AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 2,
SECTIONS Z AND 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , BY ADDING STOP
SIGNS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS DESCRIBEO HEREIN
AND YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY SIGNS AT CERTAIN
LOCATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY ;
, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY .

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GFiAPEVINE, TEXAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Code of Grapevine, Texas , Title 9,
Chapter 2 , Section 2, is hereby amended by adding Stop Signs at
certain locations described herein:
On Peach Street at North Main Street
On Hall Street at North Main Street
On Texas Street at South Dooley Street
On Ruth Street at East Texas Street
On Wood Street at Wall Street
On King Street at Dallas Road
On Texas Street at South Main Street
On Turner Street at North Dooley Street
On Wildwood Street at North Dooley Street
On Chris Craf t at Katie Street
On Chris Craf t at Redbud
On Anglers Plaza at Katie Street

Chapter 2, Section 3, is hereby amended by adding Yield Right-Of-
Way Signs at certaih locations describe d herein:

SECTION 3. If any section, sentence, phrase, word,
paragraph or provisions o�' this ordinance or the application
of that section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph, or provision
to any person, situation or circumstances is �or any reason
adjudged invalid, the adjudication shall not af�ect any other
section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or provision o� this
ordinance or the application o� any other section, sentence ,
phrase, word, paragraph or provision to any other person, sit-
uatioh or circumstances, nor shall such adjudication af�ect
any nther section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or pro-
vision o� the Grapevine City Code. The City Council declares
that it would have adopted the velid portions and applications
o� this ordinance without the invalid part, end to this end
the provisions o� this ordinance are declered to be severable.
SECTION 4. A person, firm or corporation violating
the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be �ined not less than One

Doller [$1 . 00] nor more than Two Hundred Dollars [$200. 00) .
�,..* SECTION 5. The fact that the present ordinances and
regulations o� the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to
properly sa�eguard, the health, safety , morals, peace, and
general welfare of the inhabitants of the City o� Grapevine,
Texas , creates an emergency for the immediate preservation o�
public business, property, health, safety and general wel�are
of the public which requires that this ordinance shall become
effective from and efter the date of its passage and it is
accordingly so ordained.
