BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CC?UNGIL QF THE CIT�' UF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
SECTION l. There is hereby adopted by the City of Grapevine,
Texas, for the purpose of prescribing regulations, governing conda.tions

hazardous ta health and to life, that certain 1962 edition of the Food Service
Sanitation Manual recommended by the United States Department of Health,
Educati.on and Welfare; and it is hereby incorporated herein as if fully set
out in leng�h herein and from the date an which this ordinance shall take
effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the
City of Grapevine, Texas.
SECTIQN 2. The enfarcement of this Code shall be by the City
Manager af the City of Grapevine, ar through any person whom he may
designa�e pravi.ded that such persan zs employed by the City of Grapevine,

SECTION 3. This ordinance also repeals those pravisions, and
only those provisions, of all ordi�ances in conflict with the provisions
hereo�.
SECTION 4. A person, firm or corparation violating the terms and
provi.sions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
shall be f9.ned not less than Qne Dc711ar ($1 .04) nor more than Two Hundred
Dallars ($200.00}; and each day each viola�ion sha11 continue shall be a
separate offense.
� SEGTION 5. Provisions of this ordinance shall be, and they are
hereby, declared �o be severable; and should any partion of it be declared
to be invalid for ar�y reasan by a court of competent jurisdiction, such hold-
ing shall not affect the rernaining portions thereof.
SECTION b. The fact that the enactment of this ordinar�ce is
necessary to preserve the public business, peace, health, safety and
general welfare, creates an urgency and emergency in the immediate preser-
vation of the same, and requires that this ordinance sha11 �ake effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage; and it is accordingly so ordained.
