RESOLUTION DECLARIA<G THE RESULTS OF CITY
OFFICER'S ELECTION

WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of an
election held on the 6th day of April , 1965, for the purpose

of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it appearing
from said returns, duly and legally made that there were cast
at said election 72 valid and legal votes; that each of the
candidates in said election received the following votes:
MAYOR
Ira E. Woods 65
*Bill Yancey
*R. J. Stacey 2
*Ira Hemphill 2
ALDERMAN PLACE NO. 1
C. W. Vandeventer 72
ALDERMAN PLACE NO. 2
H. E. Huber 72

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

That, said election was duly called, that notice of said election
was given in accordance with law, and that said election was held
in accordance with law, and that the following named persons were
duly elected to the offices indicated :
Ira E. Woods MAYOR
C. W. Vandeventer ALDERMAN PLACE # 1
H. E. HUBER ALDERMAN PLACE # 2
That the said above parties are hereby declared duly elected to
said respective officies , subject to the taking of their oaths
and filing bond as provided by the laws of this State and the
ordinances of this City.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS the 6th day of April , 1965.
