WHEREAS, it was voted at the call meeting of the City Council
on April 18, 1963 that the City Secretary be authorized and
instructed to prepare a suitable resolution expressing commen-
avveJ and appreciation for the untiring and valuable service
rendered to the City of Grapevine , Texas by
MR. TIP JOHNSON
AS MAYOR and that the City Secretary be further authorized and
instructed to spread a copy of such resolution upon the City
Records and to transmit a copy thereof to Mr. Johnson, and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Johnson served as Mayor for four years, in a
dignified, faithful,, impartial, and buisness like manner, giving
generously of his time and efforts, unselfishly in all deliberations,
now,
THEREFORE, Be It Resolved, that the City d Grapevine extend
to Mr. Johnson its. humble expression of esteem for him in serving
the City of Grapevine faithfully and well, and its best wished
for good health, success, and prosperity for many years to come.
Signed and sealed on behalf of the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, this 18th day of April, 1963.
