S. Benedict ( �; Doil Dalton ) Councilmen � Lee Thompson ) Mayor Woods and Councilman Huber were absent. Planning and Zoning Commission Harlen Joyce � Howard ParSley Tommy Eidson Ted Ware was absent. � Mayor Pro-tem Willis Pirkle called the meeting to order � and the invocation was given by Councilman Dalton. � � Mayor Pro-tem Willis Pirkle turned the meeting over to � Harlen Joyce for the Public Hearing in connection with � Zone Change Application 69-5, on which J. L� Bryce requested � �rErr Modified Dwelling District for Mobile Homes on his property at 522 Scribner Street. Interested persons were r given an opportunity to be heard. Harlen Joyce informed � persons present that their recommendation will be given � to the City Council and that the applicant will be notified of the Council action. The Zoning Hearing was declared closed by Mayor Pro-tem Willis Pirkle. The City Council continued to meet for the regular meeting of March 4 , 1969 and for a public hearing on the annexation of land into the city, with the following members present: Willis Pirkle Mayor Pro-Tem � G. Benedict ) � Doil Dalton ) Councilmen � Lee Thompson ) � K Mayor Woods and Councilman Huber were absent. �' Mayor Pro-tem Willis Pirkle declared Public Hearing open . for the consideration of prop:osQdannexations of land into the City of Grapevine. The following tracts were considered: � � � G & � i � 1 �� � � � � j Tract 1 i i j All the land in the Wood Survey, Abstract 689 that is North I of Dove Road and not now in the City limits. I �', Tract 2 i Al1 the land in the Wood Survey Abstract 689 that is South of Dove Road and not now in the City limits. Tract 3 �;: All the land in the Hallum Survey Abstract 728 and the Whitman Survey, Abstract 1593 that is North of Dove Road, not Government property and not now in the City limits. � Tract 4 € 6 � All the land South of the present City limits, between State � Farm Road 157 and County Road 3038, South to SO' South of � the center line of Bear Creek. � k Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to pass proposed Annexation '� Ordinance 69-10 on first reading. Motion SECONDED by Council- i man Benedict. Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to defer action on the application until the City receives a report of the engineering study of Sewerage for that area being made by � the City Engineers. MOTION seconded by Councilman Benedict. � Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: � `r C- Ayes: Councilmen Benedict, Dalton, Thompson and Pirkle. � � Noes: None ; €: The final plat of Brookhollow estates was considered. � � Councilman Benedict made a MOTION to approve the final ` R plat of Brookhollow Estates pending the approval of the f City Engineers. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Dalton. � Motion prevailed by the following vote: � € Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Pirkle, Dalton and Benedict. � Noes: None k t �' � � � � i � [ � � I t 14� ' � ; � ; � � The application of Mrs. l,.indgren to move a house on her lot 17, Block 3, Placid Peninsula was considered. Council- men Pirkle and Dalton were appointed as a committee to make a study of the application and to take appropriate action on the matter. � Four citizens living on Lakeridge Drive were present concerning �, the drainage of surface water in their neighborhood.
