On the 28th day of May, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. the City Council
. of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in a call session in the
� Council Chamber in the City Hall with the following members
� present :
Ira Woods Mayor
Doil Dalton )
Willis Pirkle ) Councilmen
G. S. Benedict )
Lee Thompson )

Councilman Eidson was absent .
Mayor Woods called the meeting to order and Bob Nichols and
I
Bob Gooch, both of Freese, Nichols & Endress were introduced. �
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the need to acquire
il additional water supply for the City by applying�o the�Texas
� Water Commission for co-sponsor5hip with Dallas� enton^or
� � others of the proposed Aubrey Reservoir.
�

� Bob Nichols, stated that thereis a possible conflict of
� interest since Freese, Nichols & Endress also represent the
j City of Denton in their application for sponsorship of the
Aubrey Reservoir project. In an alyzing the City's need for
water Mr. Nichols estimated that Grapevine would need about
� 101 of the Aubrey Project.
� Proposed Resolution R69-11 , authorizing and directing the
j City Manager to file an application with the Texas Water
; Rights Commission for designation as another cooperating
; local sponsor of the Aubrey Reservoir project was introduced
and read in full. Councilman Pirkle made a MOTION to adopt
' said Resolution. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Dalton.

� Ayes : Councilmen Benedict , Pirkle, Da,lton and Thompson.
Noes : None �
A copy of said Resolution is attached hereto.
