Those present were Mayor Woods ar�d Councilmer� Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton arid Foust. 000 M3nutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. 025 Dr. Ed Lancaster was present to discuss with the Council the - status of his plar� of construction of streets in the Ridge— crest Developement. It was agreed that the first phase of cot�structior� of the extension of W. College will begin at the East Property line of the Lancaster Property, East of Ridge Road and wi. 11 continue, complete with. pavement, to the West 13ne of Dogwood Drive. Also Bluebor�net Drive will be fully constructed. This phase of construction is to allow the res— idential portiorl of the Lancasterts developement to corltinue. 138 Discussior� was giaen on the previous subject of getting the Highway Departme�t to reloca�e the traffic signal on Main St. Mayor Woods advised that he will again call Mr. Crook to try ar�d get something done on the matter. 138 Garbage collection for the Reed Addition and area was discussed. I� was decided that another poll should be taken in that area to find out if enough residents wou2d be interested in the service. 170 A MOTION by Councilman Pirkle, secortded by Councilman Benedict to adopt Ordinance No. 66-39 on second and fir�al reading pa.ssed by a yes vote by Cour�cilmet� Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were no noes. ONDI NAI�CE 66-39 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 3, SECTIONS 1, Z� 3� �!-� 5� 6, ? AND 8 OF THE C I TY CODE OF THE C I TY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: ESTABLISHING THE REQt'°IREMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STREETS, CURB AND GUTTERS AND DR.AINAGE �YSTEMS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND SUPERVI SION. �1g7 A MOTION by Councilman Huber, seconded by Councilman Pirkle to adopt and pass Resolutiorl R 67-1, calling for an electior� to be held on the First Tuesday in April , same being April 1.{., 1967, for the purpose of electing a Mayor, who now is Dr. Woods; Councilman Place 1 , r�ow held by Doyle Da.Iton; (Page 1 of 2) and Councilma� Place 2, now held by Councilman Huber. Motion carried by a yes vote by Councilmeri Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Da.lton and Foust. There were no noes. 21�.6 Mayor Woods asked for nominations from the Council for one of themembers of the Council to serve as an alternate member of the North East Cities Advisory Council . Councilman Dalton was nominated by Councilman Foust. MOTION by Councilman Huber for nomina�ions to cease and that Councilman Dalton be elected by acclamation. Motion seconded by Councilman Pirkle and passed by a yes vote by Councilmen �e�edict, Pirkle, Dalto� and Foust. There were no noes.
