A ca11 meetin.g of the Grapevine City Cour�cil was held on January

Huber, Daltor� and Fou.st. Counei 1mar� Ber�edict was absen,t.
Purpose of the meeting was for Councilman Pirkle to give a report
or� his trip to Austfn regardir�g the City�s interest in the fit�aZ
cantext of the Airport Authori�y Bill ta include provisions for
the City to levy and collect taxes on person,al �,nd leasehold pro-
perties wi�hi.n the Autharity. Cau�cz2tnan Pirkle was to cor�tact
art attorney ir� Austin far information needed far the City Council
to decide if the services of a lobbyist wil2 be needed to guard
a�d ir�sure this interest. The Austir� attorney was to call to-
marrow, January 2�.th, by 10:00 atclock to znform if the Iobbyist
will be feasible , if he will take the job, and the fee involved.
A decisiort on the matter will be made after receiviilg 'this in-
