The City Council met in a ealled session on t�e above d ate those
present were Mayor t�oods, Councilmen �cnedict, Vandeventery Pirkle
and Huber. Couhcilman Parker being absent.
A letter from Freeze, Nichols & Endress, Consiilting Engineers,
was read on their recommendation for the repairing, rcpaintin�
and cleaning of the 100,000 gallon ground storage tank. They
recommended that Penner & Chency Co. do this work at the price
of �2,375.00.
A motion �y Councilman Benedict, seconded by Councilman Vandeventer
to accept Freeze , Nichols & Endress recommendation and employ
Penner � Cheney Co. to do this work at a price of $2,375.00 with
`rreeze, Nichols and Endress overlookin� the work. Motion carried
by Councilm�n Vandeventer, �iuber, Pirkle and Benedict voting yes
with no noes.
A motion by Councilman F3encdict, secondcd by Councilman Pirkle
to adopt Ordinance No. 66-2 which reads as follows:

Motion carried� by Councilmen Huber, Pirkle, dandeventer and
Benedict voting yes with no noes.
A motion b y Councilman Pirkle seconded by Councilman Qenedict
to a�prove the plat and dedication of the extension Vine Street
east to South Main Street and to employ Freeze , Nichols, and
Endress to draw up the specifications for laying the curb and
guttering, base for street and layin� the concrete asphalt and
to take care of the draina�;e. Motion carried by Councilmen
Benedict, Pirkle, Huber and Vandeventer voting yes with no noes.
A ldotion by Councilman Pirkle, secondeci by Councilman �3enedict
to approve the revised plat of Dawn Lane in the ,Sfu�shs�e. i�arb�r
Industrial District and to authorize the changing of street name
from llawn Lane to Wilbur Lane if th is is satisf actory with Mr. Grey
of Shasta Trailer Co. Motion carried by Councilman Vandeventer,
Huber, Pirklt, and �3enedict voting ycs with no noes.
