The City Council met 3n regular sessio� on the above c�e those
prese�t were May or Woods, Councilmen Foust, Vandeventer, Huber,
Pirkle and Benedict.
Minute� of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.
Discussio� was give� on the placing of curb and gutter in f ront of
the house of �r. H. C. Fulps �n th� corner of Airline Drive and '
Vi�e Street. The e�gin�ers recvsnmended that this be do�e to help
wit� the drainage alo�g this street and intersection.
A motio� by Cou�cilman Be�edict, seconded by Cou�c3lman Pirkle ta
include this curb and gutter in contract No. 66—I, street pavi�g
on V3�e steeet betweett Airl�ne and South Main street. Motio�
carried by Councilman Be�edict, Pirkle, Huber, Vandeventer and
Foust voti�g yes with rio �oes.
City Attorn�y Robert Seofield approved the legility of Ordinance
No. 66-23. Lo�e Star Ga.s Co. Ordinance.
A motio� by Councilman Foust, seconded by Counc3lman Pirkle to
�fJpoint Dr. Joe Allison as City Health Officer. Motion carried
by Councilman Foust, Vandeve�ter, Huber, Pirkle and Benedict
voting yes with no noes.
City Couneil approved the constru�tion of a 4 plex in the Perry
Addition if the constructiQn is of 80� masonry. ( S�ore �rest Acres)
A motion by Councilman Pirkle, seco��ed by Coun�ilman Foust to
accept the Zoning Boards recomme�dation and to re2one Mr. Dave
Ciemons tract of la�d, 49Bi i� the A. F. Leo�ard Survey from
t'Cr" Local Business to "H" Central Busi�ess. Motion carried by
Councilmar� Vandevene�er, Huber, Pirkle , Foust, and Benedict

A motivn by Councilman Huber, seconded by Counciimar� Beaedict tv

To ta�le the reznning until a committee could inspect the type
of pla€�t that was to be put on this locati'pr�. Motion carried by
Councilmen Benedict, Vandeventer, Foust, Huber, Pirkle voting yes
with no naes.
Mayor Woods was to ask Mr. Ted Willhoite to serve as Secr�t�ry of
the Grapev�3e Housir�g Autharity ta rep2ace It�r. Higgens wht� resigne�.
This was don.e by the approva2 of the City Gouncil.
The proposed Budget for the year 1966-67 was discussed and studied
by ths Cottr�ci 2. ;
