The City Council met in regular session ot� October 4, 1966.
Thvse present were Mayor Woods and Cottncilmer�; Benedict,
Pirkle, Huber, Foust and Dalton.
The Council a�cepted D. E. Daltonts resigt�ation from the Plant�ir�g
and Zonting Board effective September 19, 1966 as per his letter
of resignation which is filed i n the minute book of the City of
Grapevine.
D. E. Dalton was placed under oath as Councilman, Place �. to
fill the urlexpired term of C. W. Vandeventer who resigried.
MOTION by Counci lmar� Berzedict, secorlded by Cour�ci lman Foust
to approve the rezoning of the Adams-Egelstor� 10 acre tract in
the Foster Survey �o J-K Industrial per the recommendatio� of
the Planning at�d Zoning Board after their public hearing which
was held on this date. Motior� carried by Councilmen Foust, Huber,
Dalton, Pirkle and Benedict. There were no noes.
D. H. Dunaway of the South.western �tates Telephone Company was
preset�t to discuss and inform the City that telephone service
rates in the �ewly annexed t�rritory will be the same as existing
rates inside the City limits. Also to submit to the Courlcil
their proposal to discontinue, as a new offerir�g, residence
faur-party service and business two-party service. No offic3al
action was taken.

which is captioned as follows:

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POLICY OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, CONCERNING WRECKER AND TOWING SERVICE,
STORAGE, AND SMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLES WHEN REQUESTED
BY THE POLICE DEPAR'IMENT OF THE CITY OF GR.APEVINE,
REQUIRING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT ORt WRECKERS: REQUZRING
A STANDARD OF SERVICE PROVI DED BY SA I D COMPANY ENGAGED
IN THE BUSINESS OF TOWING, STORTNG AND IMPOUNDING VEHTCLES:
PROVIDING FOR A ROTATION SYSTEM IN SAID WRECKER 5ERVICE
AMOUNG SAID WRECKER COMPANIES: PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE:
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY:
Motion seconded by Councilman Ben2dict and carried by Councilme�l
Ber�edict , Pirkle, Huber, and Foust. There were no noes.
MOTION by Councilman Huber to adopt Ordinance Number 66-30,
which is captioned as follows:

Motiori seconded by Councilman Pirkle and passed by Councilmen
Pirkle, Foust, Huber, Benedict, and Da.Iton. There were �o noes.

which is captio�ed as follows:

AN ORDINANCE REQUIRII�r A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
BEFORE THE SETTING OF A LTTILITY METER AND�OR UTILITY
CONNECTION, PROVIDING A PENALTY AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
Motion seconded by Councilman Benedict and passed by Councilmen
Pirkle, Benedict, Foust, Huber and Daltor�. There were no noes.
MOTION by Councilman Pirkle to ammend Ordinance Number 6�.-19
by adoptirlg Ordinance Number 66-32.

MOTION By Councilman Pirkle to appoint Mr. Lee Thompson to
serve on the Planning and Zoning Board to fi11 the unexpired
term of D. E. Dalton who resigned. Motion seconded by Councilman
Foust and passed by Courlcilmen Pirkle, Foust, Huber, Dalton
antd Benedict. There were no noes.
