Those present were Mayor Woods, and Councilmen Benedic�, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. Minutes af the previous meeting ��re read ar�d approved. The �'Ianning and Zoning Board held a puhlic hearing �? this date far . the considera�ion of applications for ammendments to the Zoning Map. Application 66-24 The Planning and Zoning Board recommended th at the Council approve the req uest that the 4.02 acre tract in the Wm. �aoley Survey, as described on Application 6b-24, be rez�ned ta "F" Lacal Re�ai1 District from "A" Residental District. MUTION by Councilman N uber to accept the recommendation af the Planning and Zoning I3oard and approve the request on Application 66-24. Motion seconded by Councilman Benedict and passed by a yes vote by Council�nen Benedict, Pirk�e , H uber, llalton and �'oust. There were no noes. City Manager Flay Ezell reported that the City's Consulting Engineers recommended that the Lity participate in the cost of the extra �idth af �he extentic�n of W. Gollege Street, but nat to participate in the cost of oversizing water an d sewer lines in the Ridgecreast Addition since these lines wQUld not be extended to serve areas outside property owned by the Developers. MOTION by Councilman Foust for the City� to pay �Cl�e cost of 10 tten) feet extra width down the ce nter of the extention of West �=ollege from Ridge Road West to the access road of State Highway 114. Motion seconded by Councilman Huber and passed by a yes vote by �ouncilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, l�alton and �"oust. Theare were no naes. �iscussion w�s given on installing anather conduit across West College an d paraliel with the existing one to better drain the area south of West College during excessive rains. It was decided that Lity Manager Floy Ezell whauld investigate this possibi3ity and see if it can be warked in d uring the construction of the propased �sewer line which will cross Calle�e along the same Iine. Thexe were no noes. MOTTON by Councilman Pirkle ta adapt Ordinance Number 66-36, subject t4 approval of the City Attorney.
