000 .� regular meeting of the Grapevine City Council was held on
December 6, 1966. Th.ose present were Mayor Woods and Councilmen
Benedict, Pirkle, Dalton and Foust. City Attorney Bob Scofield
was also present. :
020 Wendell Judd of Parish, Murrell and Company was prese�lt to present
the at�nual audit of the Cityts records. Several copies are on
file in the City Office.
3l�J� �lfter the second reading of proposed Ordinance 66-36 a MOTION
by Councilman Foust to adopt Ordinance 66-36 which is captioned
as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 66-36
1�N ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 66-3�, 1�ND TITLE
- 4, CHAPTER 12, SECTION 4-12-1 OF THE CITY CODE,
PROVI DING THAT PROP ERTY OWNER S OR HI S AGENTS SHALL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING C ERTIFICtiTES OF COMPLIANCE.
Motion seconded by Councilman Betledict and passed by a yes vote
by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle , Dalton and Foust. There were no
noes.
45o Proposed Ordinance 66-37 was read. MOTION By Councilman Benedict
to adopt Ordinance 66-37 which is captioned as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 66-3?
!aN ORDINANCE CREATING THE FSRE DEPARTMENT: PROVIDING
FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A CHIEF, DUTIES, RULES AND
REGULATIONS: DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Motion secor�ded by Councilman Daltorl and passed by a yes vote
by Councilmen Bet�edict, Pirkle, Dalton and �'oust. there were ,
no noes.
500 City Marlager F1oy Ezell discussed the City�s new Code Book
and pointed out some of the cori e�tiotls that are being made '
by the firm doing the Cityts codifying.
533 �e Council approved the C3ty Managerts recommendation to send
City Secretary Jim Hancock to the Water Laboratbry Short School
ta be held in Waco January 23rd to 27th, 1967
613 '�e Council approved the usual. budgeted Christmas presentts
for the City Dnployees.
