The City Council met in regular session on the above date those
present were Mayor Woods, Aldermen Parker , Vandeventer, Huber, '
Pirkle and Benedic t.
The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.
Mr. Olin Boese Jr. , and Mr. Mitchell representing Olin Boese and
Assx iates Architects explained to the council th� Low Rent
Publ ic Ii�sing progra�. The counci l wi l l check wi th some of the
0ther cities that have this program in �peratioq and see what
their relations with this has been.
Mr. Dob Hogan with Henning�an, Durham and Richardson, Planners
and Engineers wi�1 review this plan with the public next Tuesday
night at the Cannon Elementary school at 7:30 P.M. , following
the Liort f s Club Dinner.
Mayor Woods explain�d to the council the Mid-Cities Advisory
council functions and recommended that the City of Gra�evine
participate in this organization. The follow�ng cities are now
members of this organi2atiQn, Hurst, �edford, Euless and Colleyville.
A mation by Nlderman Benedict, seconded by Alderman Pirkle that the
City of Grapevine participate with this group and to agree to
submit to the ad�jacent cities any plans for developing or rezoning
of property ad,joining the cities so drainage, and other problems
may be worked out between the cities that would b� effected. IUlotion
carried by Aldermen Parker, Vandeventer, Huber, Pirkle and Denedict
voting yes with no noes.
Truck route was discussed by the council .
Street r�quirements for dewrloper was discussed.
