The City Councfl met in regular session on the above date those
present were MayD� Woods, Aldermen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, and
Vandeve�hter. Alderman Parker and �ecretary Ezell being absent.
A motion by Alderman Benedict, secon;ded by Aldermart Huber for the
Secretary to praeeed w�ith the recommendation of the Engin�ers,
Henrtir�gsan, Dttrham and Richardson in reference to the repair on the
well pump and storage tank. Motion carried by Aldermen Van,deventer,
Huber, Pirkl� and Benedict v4ti ngyes wi th rta noes.
A �notior� by Aldermar� Huber, seconded by Alderman Pfrkle to table the
matter of buyinq a new tractor until futher study could be given an
the purchasing and paying for the tractar at this time. Motiar�
carried by Aldermen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber and llandeventer vated yes
with no noes.
Motiart by Alderman Pirkl�e , seconded by Alde�rman Huber that the
applicatian c�f Mr. Tweede2l tg operate a I�obile Home Park ,just offaf
Peach Street be accepted and approved as submitted. Motion carried
by Aldermen Vandeuenter, Huber, Pirk2e , and Benedict votir�g yes with
cto naes.
A motian made by A3derman Benedict, seconded by Alderman Pirkle that
the attached delinquent personal tax list be placed on the inactive
list of taxts to be ca22ected. Motion carried by Aldermen Benedict,
Pirkle , Huber and Vandeventer voting yes with no noes.
A motion by Alderman Pirkle , seconded by Alderman Huber that a
committee of J, B. Daniels, Harlor� Joyce and Bill Cumbie be formed
to study aR�t bui 2ding odes for the City. Motion carri�+� by Aldermen
V`andventer, Huber, Pirk and Benedict vo#�i g yes w3th no noes.
