The City Council met in a called session on the above date those
present were A�Zayor �tiroods , Aldermen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber and
Vandeventer. Alderman Parker being absent.

NOW THER�,FORE, BL IT ORDAINED BY TH�' CITY COUlVCIL OF THE CITY
OF GR.F,P�VINE, TEXAS:
That the tracts of land , as above described, be and the ,ame are
hereby annexed to the City of Grapevine, in Tarrant County, Texas,
and that the boundary limits of the Czty of Grapevine, Texas, be and
the same are hereby extended to include the above described tracts
within th2 City Limits of the City of Grapevine, Texas, a municipal
corporation, and said tracts of land , and the future inhabitants
thereof shall hereafter be entitled to rights and privileges of
other citizens of the City of Grapevine, Texas, and, they shall be
hereafter bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
It being necessary for the public welfare that this ordinance of
annexation be now passed, creates an emer�ency and public r�ecessity
that the rule requirino this ordinance be read on thre� several days
be dispensed with, and this ordinance shall , accordinoly, be now
placed on its third and final reading to its passage and same shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passaoe and approval.
Passed by an affirmative vote of all members present of the City
Council , this 30th day of December, 1g65.

A motion by Alderman Pirkel , seconded by Alderman Benedict to
pass Annexation Ordinance #65-21 as was read. i�Jtotiort carried by
Aldermen Uandeventer, Huber, Pirkle and Benedict voting yes with
no noes.
A motion by Alderman Benedict, secorlded by Alderman Huber to
approve the replatting of Lots 1 and 2 of Block 5 of the Starr
Addition, as per plat on file in the City 5�cretary Office.
Motion carried by Alderman Vandevent2r, Benedict, Pirkl� and
Huber voting yes with no noes.
Carter Publications, Inc. was to be invited to attend the
council meetinq of January 4th or l�th to present to the council
the possibilities of a Cable Television system for the Fort
'North Metropolitan area.
The water system was dreussed along with the planninG of laying
a 6" wat�r line in the colored section of the city. City has the
6" pipe on hand at this t.ime to lay this line .
