Alderman Kaker being absent. The minutes of the previaus meeting was read and �ras ta be �,orrected to read that the City of Grapevine will gravel. Washington S reet. No further carrection.s minutes was approved. Mr. Graham for Silver Lake Enterprises asked that the Iease fc� Silver Lake Enterprises be extended until April 1 , 1981 so they wil2 be able ta ffnance more impravements for a longer length af time for Silver Lakex Enterprises. A mation by Alderman Hayward , seconded by A2de�man Deacan ta approve th¢ extension af Silver Lake Enterprises lease until April 1 , 1981 , with the approval of the Corp of Engineers. Matian carried. A motion by Alderman Hayward , seconded by Alderman Harwell ta b�:fld two si ng 2e boat ramps i rt the Si lver Lakes Park A�'ea. The Mayor is to determine the exact location of the bcaat ramps so as to benefit the pub2ic mos�: Niotion carried. A motion by Alderrnan Deact�, seconded by Alderman Hayward ta authorize Texas Power � Light to erect 8 additcanal 5treet lights ' on metal poles an the i,ast Side of Main Street and the West ��x Side of Main, south from WiZlhpite Garage. Also to Ieave the two lights at corner of Franklin and W�rth street ori the east side of Main, but reglace if passible with meta2 po2es. IUtotion carried. Texas Power and Light Co. was to be contacted and have them give an estimate on the cost of operation of the 24 proposed st. lights fcar the Silver Lake Park area. A cnotion 2�y Alderman Deacon, seconded by Alderman Matthews to extenC� Mabi2e Oi2 Co. gasoline cantract for one additiona3 year due to the expense in,curred by Mc�bile Oil Co. in moving the gaso3ine storage tank and pump at no cost to the City. Motian carried. The request of the prope�ty owners ,joining Lots �. and lots �,6,7, 8, and 9 fn Block 8 af the Lucas Addition to aband the alley ad,joininq these lots was denied as the City has a Sewer Iine in this all.ey. A building permit for the erectian of a metal awning along Hwy 111� at the temparai�y Fruit stand was denied. ; � ; � � < _ 6V � � � �� The motion made by Alderman Kaker an� secanded by Alderman Hayward to accept the p2ans for remodeling the City Hall , and hiring of J. B. Daniels ta do the labor by the week. This is to be approved as t,o the 2�gality af hiring acarpeAter by the hatzr c�r by the week, This is to be recinded as to the reccomendatian of the City Attorney. Bids wi12 be taken to do this work, bids wi31 be received April 27, i9b2. The counc i 1 wi 11 meet at 20 :Oa A.M. on; Apri 1 22 , I�}62 at the Water Treatment Plant in refer�nce to accepting the Plant.
