August 29, 1962
The City Council met in a call session on the above date those
present were Mayor Johnson, Alderman Woods, Parker, and Deacon.
Alderman Pirkle and Harwell being absent.
Mr. McNutt asked th�t he be issued a building permit for the
property on the south of Texas St. and the East side of Main St.
to construct a drug store.
The 2oning ordinance #55-6 was iC�g� discussed and a motion by
Alderman Deacon that Section 12, the last paragraph of Article 4
would apply in reference to parking as the block between Worth
St. a nd Texas St. between Main and Jenkins St. is considered a
City Block and the block is more than 50� covered with buildings
befare Ordiance No. 55-6 went into effect. Moticn was seconded by
Alderman Woods. Motion carried.
